NEW YEAR’S EVE WITH THE CHENILLE SISTERS and ROYAL GARDEN TRIO at The Ark
9 PM/ Tickets $35
Swing in the New Year! The Chenille Sisters are a little bit Andrews Sisters, a little bit Supremes, and a little bit Roches, with honeyed harmonies from bygone days and a big dose of modern attitude and humor. You may have noticed that quite a few female-vocal trios have come along in their wake. Now the Chenilles are setting the pace again with a great new partnership. The Chenille Sisters and the Royal Garden Trio are a match made in heaven. Both groups have a deep love for 1930s and 1940s jazz, and they've put their talents together into a rich collaboration. The traditional and gypsy jazz sounds of the trio blend with the signature dead-on harmonies of the Chenilles in a mix that seems fresh and nostalgic at the same time. So get ready to lift a glass of champagne on the house, and ring in the New Year in classic style!
